Any United States legislator who claims to be quoting the Constitution but who is actually quoting the Declaration of Independence should be forced out of office IMMEDIATELY. Assuming, that is, that he doesn’t have the decency and shame to resign on his own.
No. Not enough. He should be plopped on a donkey backwards with a bucket on his head and trotted to the city limits.
Senate rules must be amended immediately. This is inexcusable.
Interestingly enough the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are BOTH taught in elementary School starting in kindergarten… Maybe he needs to go back to elementary school after his ride through town… I know several 2nd grade children who could give him a lesson on documents and their meaning.
This is pitiful that he can’t tell the difference… what message does this send to the future of this country.
The total reliance on misreading the constitution for right wing aims is their meme, they are fools and they don’t know anything about our founding documents…
