Sometime in 2005 I began to realize the true value of That Moron George W. Busch’s presidency. These were not happy times. The Moron had stolen the 2000 election with the complicity of the Supreme Court. A fair election in Ohio and Florida would have made John Kerry president in 2004. Democrats were everywhere out gunned and over matched by gloating, ignorant, self important fat heads. There was no environmental policy, an illegal war in Iraq and leadership of the Democratic Party was weak and nearly incompetent.
Then it happened. In a short span of days. Busch congratulated Brownie on a “Heck of a job.” A conservative talk show host, Joe Scarborough, had a show titled, “Is the President an idiot?” That lying scumbag Dick Chaney shot one of his hunting buddies with a 12 gauge. Man that was funny.
It was painful, as it could only be painful for a great nation to be ruled by a confederacy of dunces. A disaster, like setting loose a troop of monkeys in the Library of Congress, but funny.
There was the nightly reminder of Busch’s eloquence on Dave Letterman. Busch insisting “Too many OB-GYNs aren’t able to practice their love with women all across this country.” That wonderful picture of Busch in his blue Korean pajamas, the little sword dance with the Saudi king. Everything was suddenly funny. Hairy Meyers for Supreme Court, Gonzo forgetting everything, Everything!!
We will miss it. Dubya, don’t go too far away. We still need a good laugh once in a while.
